by Gavin Visit Date:May 27, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Stay at S33 Compact for 3 nights in May 2012. This hotel is about 5-10mins walk from BTS. They have tuk tuk to BTS but on a schedule only start from 10.30am to evening. Room is clean, new and modern design. Bathroom is rain shower. Although the reception mentioned we got a free upgrade but I doubt it as the room is still in small size. Anyway, we still like the room. TV does not have much English channels compare to other hotels. Breakfast is very very basic Western style and do not have much variety and very morning also the same thing. This could be quite boring if you stay long. However, the staff is very friendly with their friendly smile whenever they see you, from front desk, to restaurant, and housekeeping, concierge also. Internet is free and fast speed. Hotel guests also allow to use gym and swimming pool at S31 which is nearby only. Definitely will consider to stay back again. Keep up the good job S33!" |

Both of which are about a 5 minute walk. There are food vendors nearby and restaurants that stay open very late. Furnishings and facilities are still quite brand new. Room and lobby were clean. Everything was in perfect working order. Hotel staff speak good English, polite, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast is standard. If you want eggs and bacon, you ll have to ask.
