You can go to Phatad water fall and Water Hot hindad just 10 minute. Room is clean and reasonable i booking via www.relaxthai.net you can find many hotels and resort there. CheckIn took a while: the deskclerck probably had never done that before. He was also the waiter in the (deserted) restaurant and the bell boy. Nobody spoke English. The fine looking hotel lies very isolated and is a bit worn out. We felt unaesy although there went nothing wrong.
