As I all ways find excelent, January 15, 2010 by Lawrence amos Visit Date:January 13, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "My first visit to the Mreisess, but not my last, large well appointed room the Soi is very quiet, great value, all the staff where very friendly and helpful, when i asked about check out time, i was asked what time my flight was,and told i could check out @ 1400hrs to save me sitting @ the airport. Can be hard to find if you are new to BK streets the Soi is Soi 18 wich is the 1st left off Asok rd come down Sukhumvit from Nana and turn right into Asok rd. Very good hotel" |

by Mark De Vos Visit Date:November 29, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights( checked out at midnight 3th night). The first impression of the guys at the desk ( it is an indian hotel maybe that is why i never saw a lady) were very friendly and helpfull. The room we were in(202) wasn t so bad.It was clean but some things needed to be fixed( doors of the closet and showerdoor)even when i guess this room was already renovated. They are still doing many works in the hotel. The 3 top floors are still under construction same as the room near the lobby ( guess this will be a room were they will serve breakfast in the future). But we never had any trouble with noice from workers. There was a filled minibar and a watercooker but haven t seen the microwave advertised on the page of sawasdee. What my gf also missed was the availability of shampoo and showersoap (because we only stayed there for 2 nights she not bring to many things from her home). The first morning we didn t had breakfast because of our early leaving for a tour but we didn t get our promised lunchpacks. The second morning we had a few missunderstandings before they delivered it to our room. You can find a list in the room with all the things you can order. Some items you need to choose out of 2 or 3.I assumed that all other things ( like toast and jam) would be always included but not.You need to order them extra to get them.Other thing was that i ordered the ricesoup with pork but the man from the desk said they had only chicken because it was an Indian hotel.I m still wondering were they got the bacon and ham they use in the omelet :-DDD.Last thing: i think it s more then 7-8 min ( guess 12-15 min normal walking) to get on Sukhumvit or BTS station. And the hotel is also a bit away hidding in the soi.Our taxi and pick-up services had some trouble to find it.Conclusion: i think it will be a nice hotel when it is completly finished.Generaly it was t a bad hotel. It was clean and quiet.Motortaxies are waiting near the hotel and foodland and you don t have to wait for a long time if you need a taxi.Because they will pass the hotel frequently." |

by Mohd Zainal Abidin Bin Mohd Sulong Visit Date:November 14, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "quite a long walk from skytrain stationroom 404 reeked of cigarette smoke smellI booked for a non-smoking room but was assigned one similar to a smoking room at the airport, and the owner of the hotel blamed me for checking-in very late, whereby all the other rooms have been taken(I actually spoke to him by phone to explain the situation - I had the impression that he did not think much of non-smokers, especially when his hotel wall full). poor lighting outside the lift door on 4th floor." |

by Lucas Kohnke Visit Date:August 5, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The hotel is located down soi 16, first it will be difficult to find. It is a quiet soi but it has a few excellent rest. that you should try...The rooms are excellent, big, bright and with a huge bathroom. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant to talk with. The location makes it perfect for night activities as well as day activities since it is located next to the sky-train.I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Bangkok." |
Swiftly, as usual., June 15, 2009 by Joe Hanser Visit Date:June 13, 2009 "One of the best places we stayed, while being in Bangkok. It s a bit difficult to find, but when you are there you would not stay elsewhere. We used the Executive One Bed Room Suite , which is a must have at affordable pricing. The Suite has 2 rooms, each room provided with a 32 flatscreen. The bedroom contains a huge kingsize, where you may easily lose your spous. The bathroom has a large bathtub which, is a good alternative for the lack of a swimming pool. Check out the extra s this place offers at either no-charge. The staff consists of outstanding persons; special recommendation is granted to Sam the nightshift from the hotel coming Nepal - No request request was an issue to him. He also showed us the Foodland Restaurant, where you can have good asian dinner for (far) less than 5 euro s ....... and that s for 2 persons! Thanks Sam for making the stay at your hotel to be a memorable one.Last but not least; if you require taxi transport to the airport, just take the one priced at THB. 550 from the hotel. It s about THB. 100-150 more than the meter-taxi, but you arrive super-relaxed at the Airport." |
Very good., May 25, 2009 by Iskra Andreeva-Aleksoska Visit Date:May 24, 2009 "Very good value for the money! Good location and very easily accessible. Brand new (the restaurant is not finished yet-they bring your breakfast in your room), needs the finishing touch. However, for the price it is excellent! I will stay there again." |
As usual no problem using Sawadee.com, April 2, 2009 by knud lykking Visit Date:March 31, 2009 "Good location. Very nice and clean hotel and room on the 4th floor. Modern funiture and important for me was the fine matress in the bed. The restaurant still not finished, but the breakfast ordered in the evening was served in the room on time. Fantastic omelet and 2 fried eggs. The staff were all very pleasent and polite. Hotel 500 m to ASOK station alongside a busy road. No noise in the room at all. Fantastic view from the floor to roof panorama windows. Bathroom outstanding with seperate shower and bathtup. Flatscreen 32 TV, litlle kitchen, silent working aircon. All perfect. We will be back for sure!!" |
