There is limited Personal, but they are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious, but with limited range. Family room is okay, a little too dark ..." |
by Tina Bergelin Visit Date:February 4, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very nice personal welcome to the hotel by the owners. The room was really nicely decorated, spacious and clean. It really exceeded our expectations. The location on chaweng noi is perfect if you want to avoid the hectic chaweng but still be close (10 min by taxi) to the shopping and restaurants. It is a small hotel with calm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was good and we had a marvelous pizza in the hotels italian restaurant.Magnus & Tina" |
Very easy and comfortable,.........I will do it again, March 25, 2009 by Thomas Gottschling Visit Date:March 17, 2009 "Little resort in the second row of the beach, behind the Ringroad. 2 min to the beach. Nice garden, little swimmingpool, restaurant (italian).Simple room with AC, very simple bath without AC.American breakfast, nice staff." |
It was very easy and quick., March 12, 2009 by Rigmor Lundberg Visit Date:March 3, 2009 "During our trip in Thailand we visited some nice hotels, some not so nice. Some friends recommended Marco Polo and now we regret we couldn t stay more than 2 nights. You can t find such a nice hotel in Samui! No luxurious but clean and spacious rooms, a small cosy restaurant with both Thai and Italian food, very service-minded and kind owners and a friendly staff.Cross the road and you reach the beautiful beach. Near to shopping. Both young and older peoples who are looking for a calm and small hotel will have good value for the money at Marco Polo. We wish to come back for a real long stay next year" |
Booking service is fast as always. Tnx, January 13, 2009 by Dmitry Kuptsov Visit Date:January 10, 2009 "Nice, family running hotel. We stay in big family room. Cool decoration and garden. Its a second line located hotel, so be ready to cross the main road on the way to the beach. Friendly staff and home atmosfire. Thanx Rikardo&Co for hospitality and a good food in Custo, Italian ristorante." |
Excellent, December 23, 2008 by Richard James Lewis Visit Date:December 20, 2008 "Our stay a Marco Polo was excellent. The rooms were large, furnished nicley and kept extremely clean. The grounds of the resort were immaculate. The staff were also very pleasant and willing. Zach was excellent for advice on what you should pay for anything. The breakfast was ok, but could have been better. We only had lunch on a few occasions as we preferred Thai food, but the italian food we had was superb. Not being by the beach was not a problem. You could cross the road and use the opposite hotels sun chairs. They didn t mind as long as you had lunch there. I would recommend for people that want to be away from the main parts of Lamai and Chaweng." |
awesome. really very good, December 28, 2008 by Ioseba Imanol Soraluze Herrera Visit Date:December 20, 2008 "We had a very wonderful time with all the staff, very kind and friendly. The resort is clean, beatiful and very good located, near the beach and a little bit far from the noise and pubs of chaweng. ideal for couples that look for relax and peace of a family atmosphere" |
Very good., January 14, 2009 by Giulia Samara Visit Date:December 7, 2008 "I had a really great time in Koi Samui, particularly because I was staying in this very nice and welcoming hotel. The resort is beautiful, quietly tucked away from the buzz of the town , but at the same time really close to the beach that is only a few minutes walk away. The garden and the pool are lovely, the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated and the food is absolutely to die for! I will definitely be going there again, hopefully for longer. A special thanks to the staff for being so helpful, welcoming and friendly." |
The booking was very easy., May 8, 2008 by Karl-Gustav Laselle Visit Date:April 25, 2008 "If you want to stay at a nice little hotel with clean rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly staff that take care about you, you should choose this hotel. It is close to the beach but a bit away from the noisy center, between Chaweng and Lamai beach. But very easy to take a tuk-tuk or taxi into the center whenever you want to go there. It takes 5-10 minutes and cost 100 baht.We enjoyed the stay and will return nexttime we go to Samui." |
Very satisfactory., March 30, 2008 by Anna & Sue Grundell Visit Date:February 23, 2008 "We really liked our stay at Marcopolo although we had rain whilst we were there. The couple who ran the resort and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast and food in the restaurant was very good. It is a short walk to the beach (3 mins) but you must cross a road and go through the grounds of another hotel (Impiana). This wasn t a problem for us. We can highly recommend this resort." |
Excellent! Easy, quick & reliable, February 19, 2008 by Ratchadaporn Chaisalee Visit Date:February 1, 2008 "Marcopolo is very beautiful resort with green garden and good size of swimming pool, bed room is big and very clean. I feel like I stay at home, staff are very helpful and friendly. Only when you want to go to the beach you have to walk across road but you reach the beach within 2 minutes." |
super,no problem..., February 7, 2008 by CALEK Visit Date:January 24, 2008 "Great owner,great stuff,nice place,very nice original room,quiet,no cheap,but ideal for honeymoon,family and etc.." |
very good, January 29, 2008 by Sari and Martti Vannas Visit Date:December 21, 2007 "We stayed in Marcopolo Resort & Spa for two weeks and were very satisfied. The hotel is run by italians, the owner was changed about two years ago, and the present owner and the staff are very nice and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the garden is nice, and from the restaurant you can get excellent italian and thai food. Especially the seven course dinners on both christmas and new years eve were great. The hotel is on short walking distance from the koh samui s nicest and quietest beach called chaweng noi, and also there are some nice restaurants. We would not go anywhere else in koh samui than this place! Thank you for the great holiday!" |
