by ACKY Visit Date:February 28, 2013 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "2nd time staying. Still a good value for money hotel that s central to all locations within Chiang Mai. The Positives: Cleanliness, Friendly staff and a fairly decent breakfast. Negatives: Pool was not cleaned duration of my stay (not good for a 4-star establishment). Hot water temperature in the shower still needs fixing. Faced the same problem in 2011 when I stayed. Again, the attention to the little details overlooked. Overall, if you are looking for a place to sleep that is clean, fuss-free, quiet and centrally-located then this hotel should suffice. Anything more in terms of expectations may leave one disappointed. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

by Marius Peciulaitis Visit Date:February 19, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Was surprised by the luxurious spacious reception. Room was spacious as well, but not that luxurious although that was not an issue at all. Two A/Cs in the living room and in the bedroom. Everything was clean and tidy. Hotel is situated a bit off the city center but easy to reach by walk, never took a taxi through out our stay.I would add brighter lights in the rooms and more hooks for the towels in the bathroom.Worst thing was only breakfast there. Hard to believe but Thai dishes were worst I ever ate in Thailand. Had to take Intercontinental breakfast although I prefer Thai in general. Juice was made from powder... Would stay in the hotel but without breakfast. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
by Ronald & Lynn Patterson Visit Date:February 15, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "I am so disappointed in your hotel. We had booked for 2 different dates because of your location. I found out very fast that the front desk people cannot speak very good English. I should have cancelled the 2nd booking but since I could not communicate very well with the front staff I was afraid they would not have a clue what I was talking about. Our friends came to meet us from Chiang Rai, when we first arrived and they were going to check into your hotel and gave the hotel the information I sent them. They went to the hotel and was told there was no one by our name so they decided to stay some place else. I just happened to call them when we arrived and they were at another hotel since the Maninarakorn Hotel said there was no information about us checking in they were upset since they made the trip and was told we were not at your hotel. I m glad we got the nightmare out of the way. Your room staff was very nice but again no English spoken. I feel that being in the service (hotel) industry it should be very important that people can speak to your guests without as many problems that we experienced, after all English is a universal language. By the way please update your bathrooms, why do they have black mold in the tiles in the bathrooms and are not cleaned so the tile looks clean for your guest? The food was terrible for breakfast and could not even communicate to the staff how bad things were handled such as trying to take our plates before we were done eating our meal. What s Up With the Hotel. We will never come back and if I have my way I would like a refund. You have our information at this point and would like to be refunded our money. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
by Napatsakorn Tanapornsrimontri Visit Date:February 1, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "the hotel is chinese decoration and the room i booked is not in the main building. The room is very long with 3 seperated sections, living room, bath room and bed room. The only problem that i had to upgrade the room to the main building is the bed. It s a very old wooden bed that makes a very ugly noise every time you move on the bed. i travel alone so it s so annoying that a 1100 THB/ night room is worth for. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
