by Joanna Kwok Visit Date:February 16, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "I enjoyed very much our stay at the hotel, especially we got an upgrade to the jacucci suite. This is the first time we can really spend time to enjoy it, with a seaview. The place is quiet and really give us a relaxation feel. Food is unexpectedly cheap eg. 7500 baht for seafood buffet. Hire a car round trip to chalong beach area is 1200 baht in lexus new van, definitely great. Should try their jetty to Coral island, which we missed and book a tour outside. In house cost is 500 baht only, but the notice board is not that visible. The tram and beach area is good. Swimming pool is a bit disappointed, perhaps the hotel is a bit old. Book your spa earlier, as we couldn t get any available time. Price is reasonable. Bring your own DVD too. No free in-room wi-fi, can get it free at lobby area only. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

Large quite modern very comfortable. From the staff, restaurants and ammenities the Cape seemed more like a good five star rather than the four shown." |
by T van Jaarsveld Visit Date:January 1, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Absolutely brilliant hotel!Staff friendly and helpful and location is amazing. Two negative issues: Beach is dirty and need some attention from hotel staff and secondly is the Duty Manager need some training in people management skills and especially on how to treat your staff properly." |
by Andreas Siponen Visit Date:December 12, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Fantastic Hotel for a family with 3 and 1 years old kids. Own beach and nice pools make it very convenient for families with small kids. (you do not have to use a shuttle to the beach) Also the playroom and play ground are good.I wished we could have stayed longer. We used the room service extensively: fast very, good quality and not over priced. Also other services were all affordable, in some hotels the Spa prices are out of the sky, compared to thai price levels, not here. We are really looking forward to visit with a longer stay. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
by HAIRULNISA` HASSAN BT OSMAN Visit Date:October 1, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Cape Panwa hotel provided an absolute top of the notch service, we had a great time staying there, it was our perfect holiday so far. We will definitely go back to the hotel in the future. Although the hotel is secluded and not in Patong area, it was what we wanted total privacy with private beach, shuttle bus, great food, efficient staff, fantastic spa and killer view." |

June 3, 2008 by David James Harper Visit Date:May 27, 2008 "We have returned many times to this hotel. Peaceful location and wonderful private beach. You can snorkel over the mini reef and see lots of fish. No noisy jet skis and hawkers. Staff are delightful, good choice of restaurants and rooms very comfortable.Bit far from Patong, but that s part of the attraction for us! Good shuttle service to various parts of the Island. Some good local restaurants also. Lovely views from the rooms also. Beach is best thing...palm trees for shade and still plenty of lovely tree cover around the backdrop to the hotel. We love it! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
One again very smootless - everythings just perfect., April 8, 2008 by Christian Dreist Visit Date:March 20, 2008 "Nice and peacefull hotel - the perfect start for a holiday. Not so many shops in the area, but the hotel has a shuttel arrangement that works fine.Especially the beach is super - daytime perfect for swimming - also for children - and in the afternoon during the tide, you can actually walk out to the fishes in the reef. Some of the staff at Cape Panwa does not seem to be so service orientated and polite as we are used to in Thailand. The people in the reception is not very familiar with the english language.Perfect arrangement when you leave the hotel. You are then invited to a waiting room with possibility to have a bath and you can watch tv., have coffee, tea, cakes and very good service. Very nice take off.BEST TIP:Walk from the hotel and turn right towards the small shops just at the hill - and find the restaurant called HILL TOP.Be there around sunset - and then order the Tom Yang Kai soup. Excellent view, food and staff. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
I just love sawadee.com. Everything is always perfect handled! Thanx!, March 18, 2007 by Petra Rode Visit Date:March 3, 2007 "This hotel was awful in every way! It felt like beeing on a cruise. All package meal deals (buy 10 coupons get 3 meals free!) - facepaintings, batik, thai cooking lessons, you name it. It is so big - like beeing on a big ship - just longing to get off. Staff was not unfriendly but... you know.. It s to big to get to know you or your needs. And the hotel takes pride in welcoming the ones thats been here like 13 times instead of knowledge you on your first stay. The room standard is also variying - we booked 2 suites, one was on the topfloor, views, big bathroom, 2 TV sets, lounge areas etc. The second suite was on the bottom floor, with greeneries growing making the room dark and mouldy, no sitting area and only 1 TV set - and still you pay the same price!I dont recomend this hotel to anyone - for the price you pay here you can get a better luxury hotel in Phuket and far more stylish. Just face it - the colonial times are over! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
Easy and convenient. Look forward to using the service again., January 16, 2007 by Shiralee van der Baan Visit Date:January 7, 2007 "From check in to check out at Cape Panwa Hotel we received excellent service which only added to our fabulous holiday. We stayed in a Jacuzzi Suite room that had a great view over the water and was delighted that it was always clean and fresh and the jacuzzi was health checked every day. Breakfast was buffet style and was always good quality and plentiful. The beach is a good one and laying on the beach beds there or beside the pool was very relaxing. We will certainly return to Cape Panwa Hotel when we go back to Phuket. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
